L O R D K I L T R O W
Quiltro is the name commonly given in Chile to the country's ubiquitous mongrel dogs. The idea behind Lord Kiltrow was to take this very ordinary Chilean character and give him a rather undeserved aristocratic status.
The first product was a gin made with botanicals native to Chile. We took Quiltro, slipped a kilt into the name to allow a little Scottishness into the picture, elevated him to Lord, and finally added a rather unnecessary “w” for a touch of British phlegm. Lord Kiltrow was born.
The wonderful illustrations by Mariano Ramos gave our newly appointed aristocrat all the character and dignity he probably didn't deserve.
